Brownies, Cocoa

Preheat oven 350◦

1/2 C. Shortening
1  C. Sugar
2      Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
2/3 C. Flour
1/2 C. Cocoa
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 C. Chopped Walnuts

Mix  shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
Blend dry ingredients and mix in.
Optional – Stir in walnuts

Spread in 8x8x2 pan

Bake 30 min. Cut into squares when cool.
